Spotlight on the Discovery Grant at Monaco Multimedia Library

From 29 June, participating media libraries are invited to offer readers the novels shortlisted for the 2023 Discovery Grant. The Discovery Grant recognises an author in the French language whose first novel has just been published. This year, the public will be able to discover the following novels:

• Feurat Alani, Je me souviens de Falloujah

• • Claire Baglin, En salle

• Erwan Barillot, Moi, Omega

• Dominique Celis, Ainsi pleurent nos hommes

• Eric Chacour, Ce que je sais de toi

• Catherine Logean, Confessions à un ficus

• Jeanne Pham Tran, De rage et de lumière

• Perrine Tripier, Les guerres précieusesLibrary visitors will be able to meet the authors on Monday 9 October at 6.30 pm at the Monaco Multimedia Library. The winner will be announced during the Foundation awards ceremony on Tuesday 10 October at the Salle Garnier in Monaco.

The novels will be available at the following media libraries: Bibliothèque pour tous (Library for All) in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Biot Community Media Library, the SIVOM media libraries in Villefranche sur mer, Cap d'Ail, La Turbie and St Jean Cap Ferrat, the media libraries in Grasse, the Quatre-chemins (Four Paths) Media Library in Trinité, the Odyssée (Odyssey) Library in Menton and the Monaco Multimedia Library.
