World dance, jazz, street dance, tango and Latin styles will all be featured, giving fans the option of improving their technique or diving into a brand new discipline. La Palladienne de Monaco, whose mission is to keep Monegasque traditions and folklore alive, will recreate the atmosphere of popular festivals where everyone joined in one big farandole.
Sandra Khalhlou, founder of the only academy of Oriental dance on the Côte d’Azur, Victor Zapata and Yaritza Napoles from Santiago de Cuba with their group Del son à la salsa, Vaiana Manutahi and her Tahiti Dance, and Charlotte Baines & Laurent Trincal with a tango number, will invite the audience on a journey.
Africa will also be featured: Maude Ferre Diabata will offer an introduction to the Afro-Mandigue, while AIRE Flamenco will teach a purist, traditional Flamenco.
Pole dancing lessons will be given by Yana Shine from MC Pole Fitness, and Danse Art Studio will be offering instruction in the basics of street dance.
Ballroom dancing is, of course, on the agenda, courtesy of Mirella Piano and her Danse Sportive de Monaco association, and jazz has not been overlooked either: lessons will be given by two dancers from the Centre de Formation Professionnelle et d'Études Supérieures en Danse in Nice.
It promises to be a rich and eclectic evening – one not to be missed!
