The International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) and the Principality of Monaco sign a funding agreement in support of 2024-2027 programming

On 5 November 2023, Ms Caroline St-Hilaire, Administrator of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), and Ms Isabelle Rosabrunetto, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, signed a funding agreement on the new 2024-2027 OIF programming, in the margins of the 44th Ministerial Conference of la Francophonie in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The renewal of the Principality of Monaco’s voluntary contribution for the next four years will support OIF measures in areas of shared interest, in line with Monegasque foreign policy priorities. Support from the Principality of Monaco makes it possible to amplify OIF projects to promote the French language, provide access to quality education and cultural diversity for all, foster women’s economic and financial empowerment, support structural transformations in terms of the environment, climate and sustainable tourism.

This financial contribution from Monaco comes in addition to its statutory contribution, applicable from 2024 following approval of the scale of contributions and the four-year programming at the Ministerial Conference in Yaoundé.
