World Day for Safety and Health at Work: making quality employment the norm

©DR

On World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Prince’s Government recalled the important role played by the Office of Occupational Medicine, the body that ensures workplace health services for private sector employees as well as civil servants and public sector employees.

The Office’s multidisciplinary team, composed of 17 occupational physicians, medical assistants, nurses, occupational health nurses and occupational health and safety experts, conducts medical visits (over 28,000 in 2023), nurse appointments and field work by visiting companies and construction sites to assess occupational risks, advise on prevention measures or provide safety advice.

The Office of Occupational Medicine works to promote health at companies and aims to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for all employees.

It also publishes awareness-raising documentation on the subject of occupational risks.

This documentation is available on their website: www.omt.mc
