The State Services are working to limit the impact on traffic on one of the Principality's key routes as work is carried out on Avenue Prince Pierre.

As part of the preparatory work for a future private property development at 2, 4, 6 and 8 Avenue Prince Pierre, network-related work is scheduled to take place from 4 September to 22 December 2023, resulting in changes to the road system.

Throughout the works, pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be maintained on the main routes, although diversions will be in place during the various phases:

• The Rue de la Turbie will be closed to traffic from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm from 4 to 22 September. The Agaves car park will remain accessible via Rue Augustin Vento and Rue Auréglia, and business deliveries will be made outside these times.

• There will be a temporary change of parking arrangements for two-wheelers, deliveries, police, taxis, and hotels to the adjacent streets from 25 September to 22 December. There will be a lane closure at the top of rue Grimaldi, on a section of the Place d'Armes roundabout at the corner of Avenue Prince Pierre and on Avenue Prince Pierre. The removed parking spaces will be relocated nearby, including the two-wheeler parking area which will be moved to Rue du Rocher.

• Following the closure of one of the two lanes on Avenue Prince Pierre, Boulevard Charles III will be open to traffic in both directions between the Place d'Armes and Canton roundabouts from 4 September.

Once these preparatory works have been completed, the project will begin using a similar road layout.
