FACTEO : the mobile postal workstation

Stepping into the digital age, Monaco Post Office is set to gradually roll out a new working tool for postal workers. The tool, known as FACTEO, is a mobile, smartphone-style device which has been designed to meet challenges in three areas: 

• To improve customer satisfaction by developing new services and optimising a relationship based on trust and the ability to provide local services for all customers;
• To optimise performance by strengthening quality of service – “100% of customers satisfied and 100% of postal workers online”;
• To simplify postal workers’ jobs by replacing paper forms with IT applications.

FACTEO operates using data supplied by the Post Office IT system. 

The roll-out of FACTEO will be gradual and is planned to continue throughout September 2016. 

All postal workers are currently undergoing initial training on the use and functionality of the handset. 

This major innovation designed to bring services closer to customers and improve the customer relationship symbolises the Post Office’s move into the modern digital world.
