More than 1,000 children from Monaco, France and countries in which Monaco's Official Development Assistance intervenes are taking part as the jury this year at the "No Time Left" short film festival, which is supported by the Prince's Government.

The "No Time Left" festival is part of a politically and socially committed approach to a citizens' cinema and presents short films from all over the world on the subject of the 17 Millennium Development Goals adopted by the United Nations.  Each year, several prizes are awarded, including the Climate Prize, the Women's Prize, the Students' Prize and the Children's Prize.

On Friday 18 November, at the Variety Theatre, 250 children from Years 5 and 6 and the AIS class from the Ecole St. Charles, Les Révoires and Fontvieille schools, as well as a Year 8 class from the Collège Charles III, voted for their favourite short film from the five shortlisted for the Children's Prize.

These pupils are part of a jury comprised of more than 1,000 children aged from 8 to 14 who attend schools in Monaco, France and countries in which Monaco's Official Development Assistance intervenes, in Burundi, Tunisia and Senegal.

The prize awards ceremony for the "No Time Left" festival will be held on Monday 9 January 2017 at the Paris City Hall in the presence of numerous politically committed celebrities.

As a reminder, the Prince's Government, through its Department of International Cooperation, has supported this festival since it was first held in 2011.
