Nearly 150 guests, among whom were senior representatives from various German federal ministries, including the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Finance, representatives from various German states, numerous ambassadors currently serving in Berlin and personalities from the worlds of economics and finance, were welcomed by the Ambassador and her husband, together with diplomats from the Embassy.

In her speech, H.E. Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Monaco’s Ambassador to Germany, emphasised the cosmopolitan nature of Monaco, where more than 120 nationalities live in harmony, as well as the determination of the Prince’s Government to pursue the policy of fiscal transparency and cooperation that has been set out by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince since his accession.

The Ambassador paid tribute to H.S.H Prince Albert II’s involvement on the international stage, both personally and through his foundation, contributing to the fight against climate change and the conservation of marine environments.

Members of Monaco’s consular corps in Germany, Austria and Poland were also in attendance and expressed their deep attachment to the Principality and to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.
