The Monaco Business Office of the Business Development Agency meets new traders in Monaco-Ville

©Direction de la Communication

In early March, the Business Development Agency visited the neighbourhood of Monaco-Ville to visit new shops and restaurants.

This initiative is part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to support and develop local trade, by meeting on a regular basis with traders to discuss their development ideas and concerns.

These discussions have notably resulted in the opening of a section of the Visitation car park* to the public to facilitate access to shops and restaurants, and the creation, by Monaco City Hall, of a small food market held every Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm.

The shops and restaurants of Monaco-Ville appear on the new website of the Association of Merchants of the Rock of Monaco: https://rocher-monacoville.com/listings/ .

*Around twenty parking spaces are available to residents of the Principality and neighbouring municipalities, in the evening from 6 pm onwards and at weekends and on public holidays.

For technical reasons, the parking spaces will still be marked as “reserved”. Visitors wishing to access the car park should contact the attendant. Subject to availability.
