Offshore Urban Extension – The State Meets Larvotto Traders

In the approach to the summer season, Government Ministers Marie-Pierre Gramaglia and Jean Castellini met with traders from the Larvotto beach resort area to discuss various issues that concern them.

Various questions arose at this meeting, in particular with regard to work on the offshore urban extension project, the monitoring of bathing water and future renovation work on this site.

"These meetings are always very useful.  They offer members of the Government an opportunity to talk directly to those who run the Larvotto resort area, which is a major centre of summer activity in the Principality," emphasised Jean Castellini.  "

Marie-Pierre Gramaglia confirmed that "It was important to remind the Larvotto traders that the State is attentive to ensuring that work on the urban offshore extension goes smoothly, and it rigorously monitors the bathing water, the quality of which must be optimal."
