Accreditation of the new French Ambassador to Monaco

On the morning of Tuesday 5 September 2023, H.E. Mr Jean d’Haussonville, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic presented his letters of credence to H.S.H. Prince Albert II in the presence of Mrs Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and was welcomed by the Minister of State, Pierre Dartout, at his residence for a luncheon presided over by the Sovereign.

A graduate of the Institut d'études politiques and the École Nationale d'Administration (class of René Char, 1995), Jean d'Haussonville has been Managing Director of the Domaine national de Chambord since 2010. Prior to this, he was First Secretary at France's Permanent Representation to NATO in Brussels (1997-2001) and Adviser to the Minister of Culture and Communication (2004-2007).

Jean d'Haussonville is a recipient of the National Order of Merit, the Legion of Honour and the Order of Arts and Letters.
