Monaco named a “Best European Destination”

The Best European Destinations website has unveiled its 2024 ranking. The Principality wins an award and is on the podium, behind Marbella, Spain and ahead of Malta.

“People stay in Monaco because it is an exceptional destination with unique and memorable experiences for everyone”, the site writes about Monaco.

European Best Destinations highlights “the perfect blend of glamour, culture and leisure” found in the Principality, which is renowned for its security and offers “gastronomical delights”, “cultural and sporting events” and “exceptional night life”.

Guy Antognelli, Director of the Tourist and Convention Authority, saluted the result, saying “this visitors’ award recognises the efforts made daily by Monaco’s tourism professionals and is proof of the Principality’s renewed draw and unique positioning. It shows that Monaco is a destination like nowhere else”.
