Presentation of Cheques to Partner Associations of Universal Children's Day

Following a lecture given by Ms. Renate Winter, International Judge and Vice-President of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, the donations collected during the months of October and November were presented to three associations that work to defend children's rights:

"MISSION ENFANCE," which helps children in distress throughout the world, with the principal aim of education
"CASA DO MENOR," which helps young people from the favelas of Brazil, in particular by promoting access to employment.
The "AKILAH Institute for Women," which works in East Africa to promote the emancipation of young women by offering them access to education.

The sum of EUR 8,000 was thus donated to each of these associations to support their missions of help and solidarity throughout the world with children whose basic human rights are not respected.

Furthermore, financial help of an equivalent amount was sent to the Consul of Monaco in Madagascar to finance the education of 45 Malagasy students.

Total donations this year amounted to EUR 32,000.
