Tourist and Convention Authority gathers overseas representative offices for meeting in Monaco
Minister of Finance and Economy Jean Castellini opened today the annual conference of representatives from the Tourist and Convention Authority’s various offices overseas. The conference is being held at the Hotel Fairmont Monte-Carlo and will run until 17 November.
Each year, the event provides a unique opportunity to bring together these representatives, some of whom are working every day to promote the Principality from several thousand kilometres away.
This year, each office was given a chance to present figures and trends relating to its market for 2017, and to announce the various events and projects it was planning for the year to come.
During the course of the week, these representatives of the Principality will also be able to meet tourism partners in Monaco (restaurants, hotels, incoming agencies, transport operators, etc.).
However, it is above all a unique annual occasion where these professionals can discuss all of the strategies that will be developed and implemented in overseas markets to increase the economic impact of tourism in the Principality.
It is worth recalling that the Tourist and Convention Authority and its ten offices organise more than 250 events and initiatives in over 20 countries every year.
