Assemblies and constitutional bodies
Assemblies and constitutional bodies contributing to the Government's actions are:
- The National Council votes on laws and the budget
- The Council of the Commune deliberates on matters relating to the Commune
- The Economic, Social and Environmental Council expresses opinions on the economic life of the country
- The Crown Council is consulted by the Prince on certain issues listed by the Constitution or affecting the interests of the State
- The Council of State expresses an opinion on Bills and draft Ordinances submitted to the Prince for examination
- The Board of Auditors audits the accounts and the budgetary and financial management of the State, the "Commune" and public bodies
- The Electoral Campaign Auditing Committee oversees the accuracy of campaign accounts for national and municipal council elections, informs the candidates and their financial agents about the procedures for maintaining and submitting campaign accounts and produces a report about the campaign accounts of each candidate or list of candidates
