The Permanent Mission of Monaco to the United Nations Holds its Annual Reception
On 18 July, HE Mr Serge Telle and HE Ms Isabelle Picco were host to representatives of the member States, Secretariat and friends of the Principality in New York, on the occasion of celebrations for the anniversary of the accession of HSH Prince Albert II.
The Minister of State, who on the previous day had presented Monaco's National Voluntary Review of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, paid tribute to the commitment of HSH the Sovereign Prince, "one of the few Heads of State to have a long-term vision, to work for the planet and for future generations, who can see beyond his own personal interests. His global conscience is universally known and recognised."
The Restaurant of the United Nations Delegates was the setting for this warm reception, offering guests a convivial interlude in this busy week of the UN's calendar, in which the High-Level Policy Forum on Sustainable Development is being held.
