Monaco takes part in a new survey on risky behaviour among adolescents
For the fifth time running, Monaco took part in the European School Survey Project on Alcohol and other Drugs (ESPAD), conducted every four years in some 30 European countries to study the health decisions, lifestyles and alcohol, tobacco and other drug consumption of adolescents aged 16 and over and enrolled at school.
Monaco Statistics (IMSEE), which now handles scientific matters for the ESPAD in Monaco, conducted the survey in the schools of the Principality in collaboration with the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, and Extended Monaco .
On Wednesday 10 April over 1,300 students aged 16 and over were simultaneously administered a questionnaire – for the first time in paperless format.
The report will be released by the 4th semester of 2024.
