Covid-19: 135 new positive cases and 110 cured this Saturday 8 January

One hundred and thirty-five new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Saturday 8th January.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 5,855 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 41 people are being treated at the CHPG: 37 people, including 16 residents, are hospitalised. Four other patients, non-residents, are being treated in intensive care.

There are 110 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 5303.

On Saturday evening, 400 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report shows only resident persons affected by the coronavirus.
