The Embassy of Monaco in Italy Celebrates the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace

On 6 April, the Embassy of Monaco in Italy took part in a conference held in Rome by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) in partnership with the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Ministry of Sport.

At this meeting, all the speakers held up a white card in support of Peace and Sport's viral #WhiteCard 2017 campaign to celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace and Italy's commitment to implementing a development programme by 2030.

On the previous day, at the headquarters of CONI, in the presence of its President, Giovanni Malagò, sport was in the spotlight, with the support of renowned sportspeople.
