Covid-19: 29 new positive cases and 21 cured on Monday 7 March

Twenty-nine new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Monday 7 March.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 9,568 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 14 people are being treated at the CHPG: 13 people, including 6 residents, are hospitalised. Another patient, a non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.

There were 21 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 9372.

As of Monday evening, 87 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions residents affected by the coronavirus.

The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 6 March.

- Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 28/02 and 06/03 inclusive: 3320 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 8.70%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 422 (493 last week).
