Basketball Team A.S.Monaco Basket is received by the Minister of State

Yesterday, the players and management of basketball team A.S. Monaco Basket were invited to the Residence of the Minister of State for a lunch, following the signing of a partnership agreement at the start of the season between the Prince's Government and the Principality's club.

In his speech, Serge Telle encouraged the team prior to the Leaders Cup (from 17 to 19 February) and the two derbies against Antibes. 

The Minister of State concluded his address by emphasising that the Government and Monegasques were very proud of what had been accomplished.

Like the football team, A.S. Monaco has had a near-perfect season.  In mid-season, the "Roca Boys" are leading the French Pro A championship, and qualified brilliantly for the last sixteen of the finals of the Champions League (Europe), finishing first in their group.
