Dance, Dance, Dance A Three-Phase Project at the NMNM – Villa Paloma
Until 8 January 2017, the spotlight is on dance at the NMNM, with a three-phase project on the theme of choreography and its movements, collaboration and outreach.
First of all, there is an exhibition featuring dance, dance-related images, body movements and different rhythms, from rehearsal to public performance.
Secondly, there will be a workshop on this living art at the museum, bringing together choreographic works, dancers and artists/stage designers. The third phase will consist of a colloquium organised by the ESAP, Pavillon Bosio, which will open the debate on the exhibitions and the platforms available to the multifaceted aspects of this art.
New works, improvisation and video are central to this multidisciplinary project, in which various artistic forms meet with dance.
Designed by Benjamin Laugier, Head of Audiences at the NMNM and Mathilde Roman, a teacher at the ESAP-Pavillon Bosio – both curators of the project – Dance, Dance, Dance is a collaboration between the NMNM and the Pavillon Bosio, Art&Scénographie, Monaco Art School and the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, as part of Monaco Dance Forum.
