Round table with Union of Monegasque Home Care and Support Companies

On Monday 14 March, Minister of Health and Social Affairs Didier Gamerdinger, accompanied by the Department of Health Affairs and the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services, met with the Union of Monegasque Home Care and Support Companies to discuss the procedures for paying the autonomy allowance.

As part of a home help package, this allowance can be paid directly to individuals aged over 60 who are habitually resident in the Principality and have suffered a loss of autonomy due to a health condition, enabling them to pay for services and assistance.

During the meeting, consideration was given to ways of further improving the procedures for providing home care to the elderly.
