Monaco’s Ambassador presents credentials to President of European Commission

The new Head of the Principality of Monaco’s Mission to the European Union, H.E. Mr Frédéric Labarrère, has presented his credentials to Ms Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

During the extremely cordial meeting which followed the official ceremony, the Ambassador and the President of the European Commission had the chance to discuss international geopolitics, the sanctions introduced by the European Union and management of the pandemic.

Ms Ursula von der Leyen and H.E. Mr Frédéric Labarrère also talked about the positive momentum and constructive spirit that currently underpin the negotiations on signing an association agreement.
