End of commemorations for the centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier III
The last meeting of the Prince Rainier III Commemoration Committee was held on Tuesday 20 February 2024 at the Prince’s Palace, in the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, H.E. the Minister of State Pierre Dartout, Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, President of the National Council, and members of the Commemorations Committee.
At the meeting, H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, Chair of the Commemoration Committee, thanked everyone that made the 31 May 2023 event a success, as well as the rich series of events, tributes and expressions of affection throughout the centennial year for the much-missed Prince Rainier III.
The Royal Family and Committee members were able to watch a special preview of the film covering the year of commemorations, produced and directed by the Government Communication Department.
