T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene officially opened the Princess Grace Hospital crèche extension on Wednesday morning. The crèche is intended for the children of hospital staff.

The Royal Couple, accompanied by Mr Stéphane Valeri, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, M. Bini, Director of Princess Grace Hospital and several personalities, paid a visit to the brand new premises, which will be able to accommodate an additional 40 children, bringing the total number of crèche places to 100.

The extension, which began welcoming the children of Princess Grace Hospital staff on 20 June, will be able to take in those on the waiting list that arose as a result of the numerous recruitments associated with the opening of the Rainier III Centre.
