This morning, Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, paid tribute to the action of Annabelle Jaeger-Seydoux, Director of the Mission for Energy Transition, at a workshop held at the Yacht Club in close collaboration with the Department of Employment, as part of the "Transition Workshops."

The aim of this workshop, entitled "Teleworking - How to Accelerate the Dynamics in the Principality?" was to convince companies that have not yet decided to introduce teleworking to share the successes and challenges of implementing this way of working.

These entrepreneurs were therefore able to have discussions with companies that are signatories to the National Pact on Energy Transition and their employees, through shared feedback on their experience of deploying the teleworking scheme.

Didier Gamerdinger explained that, "For the Government, teleworking is not a marginal approach - the aim is for employees who commute long distances on a daily basis to work better and more efficiently, with the opportunity of working on more complicated issues in peace and quiet, and to increase efficiency for companies in terms of performance and premises.  The Government will continue to support and promote this new form of professional practice."
