COVID-19: Eleven New Positive Cases and 19 Recoveries on Monday 26 July

Eleven new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Monday 26 July.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 2,796 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, fourteen people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital:  12 patients, 7 of whom are residents, are hospitalised; two patients, who are non-resident, are in intensive care.

There are 19 additional recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered is 2,646. 

This Monday evening, 81 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing. These figures are as of yesterday, Sunday 25 July inclusive.

• Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 19/07 and 25/07 inclusive:  5,679 PCR and antigen tests.
• Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  4%
• Incidence rate, i.e. the number of persons testing positive per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days:  268.58 (last week 156.45).
