Guide to the CITES Convention
The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) controls the import, export and re-export of certain animals, plants, and their products, aiming to ensure that international trade does not threaten their survival. Under the Convention, permits or certificates are required to make sure trade is legal.
This guide explains how CITES rules are applied in Monaco and what you need to know.
