From “All Plastic” to Zero – What are the alternatives?
Plastic pollution poses a threat to biodiversity and human health, and contributes to climate change.
The challenge is immense: millions of tonnes of plastic end up in the oceans every year, while global production continues to rise.
Within its territory, the Principality of Monaco has committed to achieving the goal of zero single-use plastic by 2030.
The Department of the Environment outlines ways to find alternatives that can reduce, or even eliminate, the use of single-use and reusable plastics.
