Free bus travel during major events
For major events that bring large crowds to Monaco each year, the Government is introducing a special bus scheme making travel on the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM) network free of charge. The measure is designed to make it easier for people to get around at times when road traffic is heavily affected by large-scale events.
Free bus travel will start with the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, running from 19 September to 1 October, both during the event itself and while the installations are being set up and taken down. It will also cover the Luxe Pack Monaco trade fair. In 2026, the scheme will return for other major events, including the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, the Monaco E-Prix, the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, and La Vuelta. CAM will confirm exact dates and practical details closer to each event.
This initiative, developed in partnership with the National Council, makes use of Monaco’s extensive bus network, with extra services at the busiest times. It reflects the Government’s commitment to making public transport as straightforward and accessible as possible and delivering an improved travel experience for users during major events.
