A.S. Monaco Basketball Presents its 2020/2021 Season

This Friday, at the Yacht Club of Monaco, the directors, staff and players of the basketball team A.S. Monaco Basket (Roca Team) met with the media at a pre-season press conference.

At this event, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Christophe Prat was accompanied by Paul Masseron, Vice-President of A.S. Monaco Basket, Oleksiy Yefimov, Executive Director, Zvezdan Mitrovic, Roca Team Coach, Dee Bost, Team Captain, Will Yeguete and new recruit Abdoulaye NDoye.

During this presentation, Dee Bost displayed the season's new jersey and Oleksiy Yefimov announced the signing of an important new recruit, Mathias Lessort.

This French international center from Bayern Munich, Germany, will strengthen the Roca Team after Vladimir Stimac's departure for the Chinese championship.

"I am very happy and particularly motivated to join such a fine team from Monaco. Back in 2017, I wasn't far off joining Le Rocher, and I'm very pleased to come and work under the instruction of coach Mitrovic, with whom I've often been in contact. Monaco will have great ambitions and we will take up the challenge together. The Euroleague has been a very enriching experience. Why not return to this competition with AS Monaco one day?" stated Lessort on his arrival in the Principality.
