Renovation work begins on Quai Hirondelle roof terrace
The Prince’s Government has begun renovation work on the roof terrace of the Quai Hirondelle building, at Port Hercule. Led by the Department of Public Works, the project will continue until spring 2026.
The work aims to preserve the building’s structure and ensure its long-term durability, while improving waterproofing and improving the usability and comfort of the building’s interior.
The building, whose occupants include the U Luvassu restaurant and the headquarters of MYP and Monaco Riviera Navigation, will remain accessible throughout the renovation. All work will be carried out from the roof, within a secured and clearly marked work zone, without disrupting pedestrian traffic or the businesses in the building.
Coordinated with SEPM (the Monaco Port Authority), the Department of Maritime Affairs, French Customs, and the building’s tenants, the project has been planned to minimise disruption while maintaining the highest safety standards.
