Monaco Beking 2025: planned traffic modifications
On Sunday 23 November, the Principality will host the Beking cycling race for the fifth year in a row. It’s a festive occasion, which brings together professional cyclists based in Monaco, amateur riders and families at Port Hercule to promote cycling and support charitable initiatives (full information is available at https://bekingevents.com/ ). Below are details of the traffic and parking modifications that will be in place.
VEHICLE TRAFFIC
Between 4 am and 6.30 pm on 23 November, there will be no vehicle access to:
- Quai des États-Unis (from the restricted access zone on the quay to the intersection with Route de la Piscine);
- Route de la Piscine;
- Avenue J.F. Kennedy;
- South Dock.
Please note: this restriction will not apply to motorists seeking to reach the Jules Soccal jetty. Controlled two-way traffic will be retained for these drivers during specific times determined by the event organisers in line with the progression of the races on Quai des États-Unis and Route de la Piscine, between the Jules Soccal jetty and Avenue J.F. Kennedy.
On Boulevard Albert I, traffic will be permitted on the service road.
One-way traffic will also be in place from the start of Quai Antoine I, after the Rocher Noghès tunnel, as far as Esplanade des Pêcheurs. When exiting the Antoine I car park, drivers will therefore need to turn right towards Esplanade des Pêcheurs, as will those coming from the Rocher Antoine I tunnel.
VEHICLE PARKING
From 6 am on 21 November to 6 am on 24 November, vehicles will not be permitted to park on:
- Quai des États-Unis (from the restricted access zone on the quay to the intersection with Route de la Piscine);
- Route de la Piscine;
- Louis Chiron corner;
- the first section of the Jules Soccal jetty;
- South Dock.
From 11 pm on 22 November to 6.30 pm on 23 November, parking will also be prohibited on Boulevard Albert I.
Please also note that parking will be prohibited on Quai Antoine I (between the parking area on the quay and the Rocher-Noghès tunnel) from 4 am to 6.30 pm on 23 November.
BUS SERVICE
The CAM no. 1 bus service (Monaco-Ville to Saint-Roman) will be diverted along Avenue d’Ostende. Buses will not stop at the Kennedy and Rainier III Auditorium stops, and only the 5 and 6 bus services will stop at the Spélugues, Citronniers and Place du Casino stops.
