On Tuesday 14 October, Ms Marie-Catherine Caruso-Ravera, Director of the Department of Diplomatic and Consular Relations, representing Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage for two newly accredited Ambassadors:
• H.E. Ms Betty Chebet Cherwon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya, also accredited to Portugal, Serbia and the Holy See;
• H.E. Mr Essam Abdulaziz Aljassim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who also serves as non-resident Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, the Holy See and the Principality of Andorra.
Earlier that morning, the Ambassadors had presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. They then met with Ms Marie-Catherine Caruso-Ravera, in the presence of Ms Chloé Leclercq, Project Officer at the Attractiveness Department, head of Monaco Private Label, and Mr Guillaume Rose, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Principality and each of these countries.
