Diplomacy: New Ambassadors Accredited Uzbekistan – Denmark – Pakistan – Mauritania
On Tuesday 7 October, Ms Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage for four newly accredited Ambassadors:
• H.E. Mr Nodir GANIEV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan, previously posted to the Kingdom of Sweden;
• H.E. Ms Hanne FUGL ESKJAER, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark, who served as Denmark’s Ambassador to Bangladesh from 2013 to 2016 and to Canada from 2019 to 2024;
• H.E. Ms Mumtaz Zahra BALOCH, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea from 2020 to 2021;
• H.E. Mr Mohamed Yahya TEISS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, previously posted to Senegal, the Republic of Guinea, Cabo Verde and Guinea-Bissau (residing in Dakar).
Earlier that morning, the Ambassadors had presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. They then met with Ms Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, in the presence of Ms Chloé LECLERCQ, Project Officer at the Department of Attractiveness, responsible for the Monaco Private Label, and Mr Guillaume ROSE, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Principality and each of these countries.
