Thomas Le Douarec presents adaptation of Dostoevsky’s The Idiot at Théâtre Princesse Grace
Monday 7 May, 8.30 pm
Rehearsals open to the public on 3 and 4 May from 4 pm to 6 pm
The Théâtre Princesse Grace is hosting its first ever creative residency with actor and director Thomas Le Douarec, who has opted to adapt Dostoevsky’s The Idiot. He will present a preview of the production on Monday 7 May at 8.30 pm, before taking it to Avignon and Paris.
Rehearsals will be open to the public on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 May, between 4 pm and 6 pm (free access: theatregoers may stay as long as they like provided they do not disturb the actors at work).
An “after work” drink, offering an opportunity to meet and chat with the company in an informal setting, is planned for Friday 4 May from 6 pm onwards (free; please register by emailing François Larini at francois.l@tpgmonaco.mc).
There will also be a chance to meet the actors after the performance on Monday 7 May.
Finally, following the success of The Picture of Dorian Gray last season, the company will perform the play in English on Tuesday 8 May at 8.30 pm, once again at the Théâtre Princesse Grace.
