47th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival and 12th New Generation - Friday 17 to Sunday 26 January 2025

Following the Great Jubilee of the 46th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, marking the 50th anniversary of its creation by Prince Rainier III, the Principality of Monaco hosted a series of spectacular events. A grand parade filled the streets, while an Open Air Show was held on the Place du Palais to highlight this memorable anniversary. The 47th festival, to be held from 17–26 January 2025, will prolong the magic by bringing together the best circus acts from around the world.

This historic festival will include performances that push new boundaries. It is expected that several records will be broken during this exceptional program:

Some 40 animals will perform simultaneously in the ring in one of the largest animal shows ever produced in the history of the circus.

The famous cycling acrobats from China will perform a new show of technical prowess and synchronisation never seen before in a circus ring

One of the most famous clowns of our time, from Chile, will delight audiences with his hilarious performances and unforgettable moments of laughter.

Splendid Akhal-Teké horses from Turkmenistan will dazzle with their beauty and grace, offering a show that combines acrobatics on horseback, harmony and elegance.

Mexican trapeze artists will perform spectacular aerial figures and a quadruple jump under the dome of the Big Top, along with an extremely difficult and rare somersault.

No less than 20 performances, each one more impressive than the last, will be included in the programme. Among them are young artists from the New Generation competition, who will compete with more experienced artists, adding another dimension to this exceptional event.

This circus event is sure to be an unforgettable event to celebrate the legacy of the past and the promising talent of tomorrow in a breathtaking setting.
