Two new positive cases on Monday

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Principality on Monday 17 August.

This brings the Principality’s total number of coronavirus cases to 148.

The two people who tested positive today have been admitted to Princess Grace Hospital. This evening, a total of four people are being treated in hospital.

No new recoveries have been reported, so the total number of people who have recovered still stands at 114.

This evening, 13 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

It should be noted that those tested and hospitalised are not all residents of the Principality.
