COVID-19 : two new positive cases and one recovery reported on Wednesday 2 September 2020

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, daily updates now report coronavirus cases among residents only.

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Wednesday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 142.

This evening, a total of four patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital: three residents, two of whom are in intensive care, and one non-resident.

One additional recovery has been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 91.

This Wednesday evening, 44 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.
