COVID-19: two new positive cases and five recoveries on Monday 28 September

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Monday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 212.

This evening, eleven patients are being treated at the CHPG, two of whom, including one resident, are in intensive care. Four of the other nine patients hospitalised are also residents.

Five additional recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 174.

This Monday evening, 26 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
