COVID-19: two New Positive Cases and Four Recoveries on Tuesday 22 September

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported on Tuesday.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 197 people affected by the Coronavirus.

This evening, following a new admission, eight patients are being treated at the CHPG:  two non-resident patients, who are in intensive care, and six hospitalised patients.  Four of them are residents.

There are four recoveries to be noted.  The total number of people who have now recovered therefore amounts to 163.

This Tuesday evening, 24 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
