COVID-19: No New Positive Cases among Residents on Wednesday 19 August
No new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified among residents on Wednesday 19 August.
However, one non-resident was found to be positive and is hospitalised at the CHPG this evening.
The overall health figures for the Principality therefore remain at 148 people affected by the Coronavirus.
This evening, two people are being treated in hospital. One of them has been admitted to intensive care.
One further recovery has been noted. The total number of people who have now recovered is therefore 113.
This evening, 13 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.
