COVID-19: Four New Positive Cases among Residents on Friday 21 August

From now on, to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, the daily health assessment figures will make a distinction between resident and non-resident people affected by the Coronavirus.

Four new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified among residents on Friday 21 August.

This brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 106 residents affected by the Coronavirus, while 48 non-residents have also been affected.

With regard to the people being cared for by Princess Grace Hospital, one resident is in intensive care and two non-residents are hospitalised.

Following a recovery today, the total number of people who have recovered amounts to 83 patients among residents and 33 among non-residents.

This evening, 18 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.
