Digital Government Department


The Digital Government Department which is under the authority of the Minister of State, is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of projects aimed at providing the administrative services with desktop tools and applications that enable them to undertake their missions efficiently, as well as projects that enable users in the administration to access comprehensive information and undertake procedures online
  • Assisting project owners with the said projects and supervising their implementation by the project owner
  • Developing the dematerialization of internal communication within the administration
  • Developing electronic administration, in particular the implementation of teleservices for users
  • Streamlining administrative procedures with regard to administrative departments and services within the context of these projects
  • Ensuring the overall coherence of the Administration's online landscape, including online services and websites
  • Providing users with comprehensive administrative documentation on the Internet and informing them of the procedures to be undertaken
  • Identifying and analysing users' expectations with regard to administrative procedures and information
  • Organising and directing the consultation necessary for the dissemination of standards and general rules relating to the accessibility and use of digital services
  • Providing technological monitoring of e-government and online services
