Monaco strengthens its economic ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Jeddah marks an important step towards new and ambitious partnerships

Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, the Delegate for Attractiveness to the Minister of State, travelled to Jeddah this week as part of a visit organised by the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), accompanied by a large delegation of Monegasque business leaders. The visit cemented the constructive dialogue between the two nations, paving the way for ambitious, high-value projects with one of the Gulf region’s most dynamic markets.

“Our shared aim is to build long-term, ambitious partnerships in strategic sectors such as yachting, finance, innovation, tourism, and luxury goods and services,” explained Ms Raconnat Le Goff. “Saudi Arabia offers significant economic opportunities, while Monaco brings to the table its recognised expertise, agility and an ability to work quickly with fast-moving business ecosystems. Both countries have already identified promising synergies that could lead to innovative and profitable projects for their respective businesses.

Part of our role is to use every meeting to explain Monaco’s economic reality - its strengths and its prospects - and, in doing so, to support Monaco’s standing on the international economic stage by deepening our bilateral ties.”

The Attractiveness Department extends its thanks to its Saudi partners, the Monegasque firms involved, and the staff of the Monaco Economic Board for their shared commitment to developing new economic opportunities between Monaco and Saudi Arabia.
