Monaco Fire and Emergency Service Holds an Open Day

To mark the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Service, the 30th anniversary of the Fontvieille Emergency Response Centre and the 25th anniversary of La Condamine Emergency Response Centre, the Fire and Emergency Service is organising an Open Day for the public on Sunday 23 June 2019, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in both fire stations.

This event, which is directly linked to the World Civil Defence Day, is in line with the theme chosen for 2019, "Protecting our Children."

With an informal, friendly atmosphere, it will centre on activities for children and educational workshops for a wider public.

Throughout the day, there will be live displays of rescue manoeuvres and a demonstration featuring a drone, to show the numerous different aspects of this occupation, while reminding the public what action to take in certain situations.

During this event, relaxation areas will be available, and souvenirs and drinks will be on sale.

This Open Day is an opportunity for you and your family to learn more about the expertise of the fire-fighters. It could even be the inspiration for some future careers …
