COVID-19: 106 new positive cases and 110 recoveries on Tuesday 18 January

One hundred and six new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Tuesday 18 January.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases since the beginning of the health crisis to 6,943.

This evening, 39 people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital: 35 people, 20 of whom are residents, are receiving in-patient care. Four other patients, including one resident, are in intensive care.

One hundred and ten further recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 6,427.

This Tuesday evening, 284 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
