On Wednesday 5 October 2016, the Monaco Cyber Security Agency (Agence Monégasque de Sécurité Numérique) (A.M.S.N.) was presented to the press, in the presence of Mr. Patrice Cellario, Minister of Interior.  This presentation was held as part of the Information Security and Systems Congress that is taking place at the Grimaldi Forum until 8 October 2016.

The A.M.S.N., which was created by Sovereign Ordinance on 23 December 2015, is the national authority responsible for the security of information systems.  It consists of an expertise, response and processing centre (C.E.R.T) that deals with security and cyber-attacks for the State and for Critical Infrastructure Operators (O.I.V.)

Its missions include preventing, detecting and dealing with cyber-attacks, reacting to and coordinating action in crisis situations, and also raising awareness and encouraging public services and Critical Infrastructure Operators to heed security requirements.

A report will follow on Monaco info.
