Conference on the Migration of Businesses to SEPA Payments

A conference was held today in the Auditorium Rainier III on the occasion of the introduction of SEPA,* in the presence of Marco Piccinini, Minister for Finance and Economy. It was organised jointly by AMAF, the Banque de France and the French Association of Corporate Treasurers (AFTE) under the aegis of the Monegasque National SEPA Committee.  The conference was chaired by Olivier Bornecque, who is a member of the French National SEPA Committee and Honorary President of the AFTE and Alexandre Stervinou, Deputy Head of the Cashless Payments Monitoring Service of the Banque de France.  The aim of the conference was to raise the awareness of Monegasque businesses of the end of national means of payment (national bank transfers and debit transactions) and the necessity for businesses to migrate to SEPA payments.
